I flipped the switch and went to bed at 10, confident that:
-- There weren't going to be any major gaffes committed by either party.
-- Palin was going to continue to sound good on the surface (in terms of quasi-coherence, that is; not in terms of her horribly nasal voice) and Biden was going to continue to dominate on substance.
-- Gwen Ifill was going to continue to be a horrible moderator.
My online reading today suggests I was 3-for-3.
