Things I Learned Today - March 1 Edition

PT Cruisers are kinda cute but they have a very stiff ride and a very hard driver's seat and they make my ass hurt (rented one to drive up to Northern VA yesterday and back today).

The Exxon convenience store outside the Amerisuites in Chantilly, VA just south of Dulles does not sell beer. Of any kind. Okay, I actually learned that late last night, but still - a painfull lesson any time.

Losing sucks.

Would the January-vintage University of North Carolina varsity men's basketball team please report to head coach Roy Williams in the Dean Dome as soon as possible?

That is all.

Things I Learned Today

Diet Cherry Vanilla Dr. Pepper = Diet Cheerwine. This is not a good thing.

Anna Nicole Smith is apparently being buried in the Bahamas, at least so every news channel I flipped past tonight said. Including one that put it as "buried in the Bahamas!" - woohoo, it deserves an exclamation point! Uhm, why does anyone not related to her care?

The Last Pogo

Yep, I've just posted the 8th and final episode of Half-Life Radio. I've enjoyed the heck out of putting these together (and I hope you've enjoyed listening!) but there are some other things I need to turn my attention to for awhile. You know the drill - song list is in the comments and your feedback will be much appreciated. I hope I've reminded you of some of the great bands we've had and continue to have around here and maybe you've even heard some folks for the first time that you liked.

I have no doubt that HLR will be back in some form or another someday but this is it for now.

Cheers!
