Wesley Crushes Star Trek: TNG
Via JustIsengard, Wil "Wesley Crusher" Wheaton is writing some funny-as-shit episode synopses of Star Trek: The Next Generation at TVSquad.com including this opening paragraph to a hysterical synopsis of "Justice":
Picard sends an away team down to the surface to find out if it's a good place for some shore leave, and they return with some very good news: it's clean, it's beautiful, it's populated with friendly humanoids . . . and they really like to do the nasty.
"At the drop of a hat," according to Geordi.
"Any hat," Tasha says, knowingly.

Hege V and BML Tonight!!
Don't forget about the Brown Mountain Lights with my bud Greg Bower and the Hege V reunion show at the Cat's Cradle tonight - it looks from their website that tickets are still available and part of the money raised is for the Woods Charter School, which seems like a pretty cool place. Hope we see you there!

AIEEE! Run! It's Half-Life Radio Episode 5!
A day late and a dollar short, but nevertheless Half-Life Radio Episode 5 is now available here. I've also reworked the site a little bit but I still haven't had time to learn CSS and do it the way I want it. Maybe in a few weeks. In the meantime, all 5 of the Half-Life Radio 'casts are available for download at TonyPlutonium but I'll probably start dropping the older ones off after I add a couple more, so get 'em while they're there.
I've broken down and added the songlists to the site but I'll continue to post them in the comments as well. Hope you're enjoying listening at least half as much as I'm enjoying putting these together!

Updating my Blog Links
Bad enough that I'm finally admitting the truth and removing the link to Fafblog! (last updated in June) - now I've got to drop Billmon and, even worse, mapgirl at Midwest (formerly Nashville) Confidential. However, I've finally gotten around to adding links to some of my real-life friends that I've been reading for quite awhile but was too damn lazy to add, so welcome spuffyduds at Insane Troll Logic, justisengard, gikiski and the other (younger, fresher) Tony - the one at 245Road! Blogging
It will have escaped the attention of no one that Half-Life and Times has gone from a fair amount of political commentary to a mixed bag of stuff to being almost entirely devoted to music the last couple of months. That should not lead anyone to believe that I'm happy with the governmental or political status quo. I'm trying to read as much as I can from as many different sources as I can about what's going on, but in terms of output I've been other-directed. I suspect that over the next three months, HL&T will primarily focus on music and Carolina basketball after which presidential politics will be demanding more blogtime, which I will undoubtedly oblige. In the meantime, I'll continue to read Lex and Josh and the other blogs found on the left-hand side of HL&T and I encourage you to do the same.
And I expect my political ranting persona to find his voice again around the middle of April or so...
